Faculty and Staff Resources

The Dean of Students portfolio has created a variety of resources for faculty and staff for supporting student well-being.

Supporting Students Resource Guides

Our portfolio has developed several resource guides to help faculty and staff support students. These resource guides include:

Supporting Student Mental Health

Student Mental Health Online Resources
Information on the programs, services, and events on campus that contribute to the well-being of student mental health.

Promoting Fairness in Conflict Resolution

The Office of the Student Ombuds strives to ensure that university processes related to students operate as fairly as possible. Part of fairness includes fair communication in conflict resolution. The Fairness in Communication Guide offers advice and suggestions for incorporating fairness into your conflict resolution toolkit. Learn more about fairness in communication.

Promoting Academic Integrity at the U of A

The Academic Integrity Program is intended to provide basic resources for Instructors and Teaching Assistants (TAs) to promote academic integrity in the classroom or lab, and to address any incidents of inappropriate academic behaviour that may arise.
